Do Dating Agencies Really Work?
Six single-minded 34 year olds put dating agencies to the test. Natasha Delanvity tried Kids No Object - an agency aimed at single parents.
"Right from the beginning I liked Kids No Object. Its staff were helpful, friendly and explained how the agency worked clearly. Unlike other dating agencies you don't get a compatibility rating or any kind of computer matching. Neither does the agency promise to find you the man of your dreams.
You fill out a questionnaire, send it off and wait for the replies. A week later, I was sent more than 60 in-depth profiles of men in my age range and area. I was quite surprised because you always do think there's no one out there.
The worst bit was calling the man I'd chosen. Thankfully, he was very sweet, and on meeting him, most of his profile was very accurate. We settled into a friendly chat......by the end of the evening, I felt I'd had fun.
I'd recommend Kids No Object to any single parent who wants a relationship, simply because it helps you maximise your chances."
